One of the must visit the place. This is one of the forests you have to cross when you are going to Ooty or Kerala. There are two check posts are there in the forest. Only during the daytime, you can go through by this forest. Night time forest officers won't allow going inside the forest. Pros 1. Nice and well-maintained roads. 2. Good views. 3. You can see many animals early morning. 4. Info boards are there. 5. Elephant safari is available. 6. Free entry. Cons 1. The speed limit is there. 2. Some time animals may cross the road. 3. Night time no entry. 4. Can't even carry plastic bags. 5. No parking inside the forest. 6. Afternoon you won't find animals across the roads.
