We fished with Mike in 2014 and 2015 and had some great results with Mike. He has a lot of experience when it comes to Big Game Fishing as well as Popping and Jigging and he really dose get you amongst the fish. As a super keen Angler, Mike really dose go the extra mile for you to make sure you get the most from your Fishing Adventure. His seamanship is also second to none and you always feel safe with him at the helm even in the most remote places of the Andaman Sea's. I would highly recommend fishing with him and hope to do so myself again in the not to distance future Phil & Geoff (UK)

Mike is a very experienced fisherman. We have been on 2 fishing trips with him catching some amazing fish and many fish at that. The scenery is spectacular, the snorkelling off the boat out of this world and if that hasn't been enough we have learned an enormous amount from the fishing master. Mikes adventures are great fun be it on the boat or on the island. We really have had a blast and look forward to returning in 2016.
Wild adventures and big fish. Which came first is easy. Neither. Mike did. I've never met anyone that wants to fish as much as Mike. When your hands are raw from 7 hours fishing, your sun burnt and just need a rest, Mike is already focused on the next giant fish or outrageous adventure to some far flung reef where the monsters hide. They say if you ever want to be successful at something, you've got really love it. Mike really really really loves fishing.....
Have done 2 trips with Mike and his team, one based in Havelock (Barefoot Scuba) going out by day and one liveaboard on Torpedo for 6 days. Both were excellent, Mike constantly finds new spots and exciting new ways to catch a lot of fish!! Mike really knows his stuff, clearly loves his fishing and would fish 28hrs a day if he could. (We had some great nights out too!!) Booked again for 2016 and cant wait!!!
Two fish of a lifetime!! What a day popping for GTs and multiple Dog Tooth strikes too!!! Had high but managed expectations and they were well and truly exceeded. Mike's ability to spot and get you into the fish is uncanny, we were very fortunate to be blessed with a fantastic day however the biggest fish of the day came in the midst of a rain burst, I have no idea how Mike spotted the fish but he put me right on them and sure enough I was in to a massive GT, my fish of a lifetime and long time dream! He did this throughout the day and it felt that there was very little in the way of 'blind' casting. Unbelievable experience and one I would highly recommend for anyone! Special thanks again to Mike and Dave.
Mike is an outstanding fishing guide! He works hard, is enthusiastic, and most of all is very knowledgeable. He has dozens of secret spots to put you on fish. And he’s very accommodating — he’ll do almost anything to help you get that prize fish. Even after I caught my trophy-sized GT he was working every minute to get me hooked up again. He’s also very patient — a friend of mine, who had no fishing experience, came along one day, and Mike and Rama worked with him to help him learn and catch some fish, while at the same time still being attentive to me. And I need to mention that Mike is a super-nice guy. Not only would I recommend Mike whole heartedly, I’m already booking my dates for next year! If you want an unforgettable fishing experience in the beautiful Andaman Islands you can’t go wrong fishing with Mike’s Fishing Adventures.
We have been looking for a adventure in the Andamans and we definitly found it! i can highly recommend mike as person, angler and guide in all ways! that was exactly what we were looking for and we had such a great time with big fish, beautiful scenery and there was nothing missing. We definitly coming back in 2016 for another adventure, i just can say - FULL POWER! Thanks Mike&crew (Rama) for this lifetime memory you guys are amazing!!!
I was at Andaman's around 7 days in January, 2015. I started to find out right team to go for fishing around 2 months in advance. I was in contact also with other "more local" team from Port Blair but selected Mike's team, already due to Mike's professional answers regarding ways to catch fish and his support/suggestions to organize the trip itself. I was traveling alone from Hyderabad and trip/accommodation at Andaman's was still a question for me. I had chance to go only to 1 fishing trip with Mike but I liked it a lot due to following reasons: 1. Captain's Professional Knowledge of good fishing spots and ways to catch the fish. 2. High quality of the boat, its engines and navigational equipment. 3. Good fishing "Boy" - support on the boat by Rama was highly welcome! 4. Very good catch during the trip. 3 GTs were taken by me out of 10 bites. The Fish is very strong and it's not easy to work it out. All of GTs were sent back to the sea quickly after making photos with biggest of them. I hope that all still in the sea. :-) 5. Great team of other "tourists" that were there on the boat during this trip. 6. Relatively medium price for the trip, as we were 5 on the boat. I still think that 4 - was more optimal but it's so hard to do fishing during 7 hours that we were "queue-ing" and only 4 were doing casting/popping simultaneously. 7. Nice "free" dinner that we had with the team and Mike after the trip at Beach 3 resto. I plan to repeat this experience next December and would suggest this type of trip to everyone, who loves fishing. CU at Andaman's soon!
