మంచిప్ప లోని పెద్ద చెరువుకు 3 తూములు (నీరు బయటికి పంపే దారి ) వున్నవి. అందులో ఒకటి మంచిప్ప పంటలకు నిరు అందించటానికి రెండవది నిజామాబాద్ కు త్రాగు నీరు అందించటానికి, మూడవది ముదకపల్లి పంటలకు నిరు అందించటానికి. ఇది రెండవది నిజామాబాద్ కు త్రాగు నీరు అందించటానికి వాడతారు. ఇక్కడ దాదాపుగా 70 ఫీట్ల నీరు నిలవ వుంటుంది. దీని ప్రత్యేకత ఏమిటంటే కరంటు లేకుండా వాటర్ ఇక్కడినుండి నిజామాబాదు కు సప్లై అవుతుంది. అంటే మా చెరువు అంత ఎత్తులో వున్నది. ఇక్కడ మంచిప్ప గ్రామ వాసులు ఉదయం స్నానాలు చేసి అక్కడే ఉన్నటువంటి హనుమాన్ గుడికి వెళ్లి దర్శనం చేసుకుంటారు.
