I first visited Dr shashank Joshi 20 yrs ago for pcod. Ever since I have been visiting him till I conceived my first baby . My mil has been under dr s care for thyroid and empty cells syndrome for the past 18 years now and she refuses to believe anyone but Dr Shashank Joshi. We have been very happy with doctor and his treatment. Doctor who one can blindly trust , very modest , reliable and a good human. Thanks Doctor for always helping out

Hours and hours of waiting..sometimes even upto 3 hours and the doctor sees u barely for not even 2 mins.. flips thru his previous prescription.. writes down the medication..thats it ..no conversations over patients health...if the patient has any other concern..just nothing...much better doctors available outside..

My late mother was his patient many years ago for a Thyroid problem. There was always a lot of waiting at his clinic. Worst is when your turn finally comes, he finishes off in less than 5 minutes. Imagine waiting for 2-3 hours for a 5 minute consultation. Poor management of appointments. He recommended a tablet called Methimez for her. Many years later she found out from another doctor that only 3 doctors in Mumbai prescribe Methimez because Methimez is known to have terrible side effects on the patients liver. And guess what, my mother was diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis. She was not a drinker at all, so I believe it could have been the adverse effect of prolonged use of Methimez that destroyed her liver. Please do not have that tablet. Take a second and third opinion of whatever meds he prescribes. Better doctors available in Mumbai.

On a friend's strong persistence I went to consult this doctor. She was all praise for his credentials and celebrity patient list. My experience at this needs a lot of writing but let me tell you, i was disappointed by the way this doctor attended our concern. He was on two mobiles all the ten minutes we were in his cabin, asked my 14 yr old son what his issues. He hardly had a look at the diagnostic file which we had done before on another doctor's advice and wrote down another set of diagnostic tests to be done. That's it. Then he wanted us to meet his dietician in the other cabin. This young girl was having a mobile on the table and another mobile in her hands under the table messaging and smiling all the while she gave us some diet advice!!! I mean, this is the way a supposed, most sought after doctor and staff consult?
