One star is also a high rating for this store...This was my email to them on April 2019...Hi Team, On date 19th March 2018,I bought a Poloroid glares from Gangar Opticians Mumbai Central.Within a month had discovered that the glass has the following problems:1 Scratches,2 Colour faded.So I immediately went to the shop if could get a replace for it,they said they will look into the matter.After few days when they returned my glares I saw they had just polished it and given.But,again had the same problem the polished worsened and I had more related problems.Because of the polish the lens had a reflection from inside too.So again visited the optician,spoke to the manager(Abhishek) told him to wear it himself and he too agreed of the reflection seen from inside the lens,but was not ready to replace the glass. I have submitted the glares almost more then a week ago at Mumbai central store and still haven't received any response from them I will wait for this week by Monday I am going to take my next step. And at Alstom I have got this email id by calling several numbers of different stores and mr Abhishek is a manager of the store and he's not even aware of online complaint and email id. This is my strong feedback to you to train him on your product because he don't have appropriate product knowledge which is spoil your business. If I donot receive your satisfactory proposals for settlement of my claim within seven days of the date of this letter,I intend to issue a claim against you without further refernce of you. Today. Now again after moonsoon I have taken my glares to were and just try to wash it with plain after to remove some dust..the silver reflection had just wash away like colour was there on the top of the glass. It was like polish. This is very deprdepre feeling I am getting from 2 service from gangar store it's a matter of my hard earn money and if you think it's just a review then be ready to get call from consumer court official in a week.

Very bad experience. I got my specs made . It had a fitting problem . I used to travel two hours only to get made from that shop. Imagine u call them n they say come anytime any day n when u do they are like our technicians are not available on this day!! And instead tell you that you don't know how to wear specs..horrible experience. Wasted 8000 rs.

I have been going to Gangar since the past few years but of late I am very unsatisfied with their customer service. The glasses which were made by them a year ago they claim that they cannot make a matching lens for it and I have to make both the lenses.
