Reason for the five star rating is for Amazing sunset view and the cafe ambience. Otherwise the service is very slow and not up to the mark. They have very limited options for vegetarians and food is not really great and also overpriced.

Travel For Food

High Tide at The Resort Mymbai, has come up with Koli Seafood Festival, where you get to try different types of seafood in thali. So we had visited here for trying seafood. Our experience was fantastic. We opt for Prawns Thali and Surmai Thali. The presentation of Thali was amazing. The Prawns Thali consist of Prawns Masala, Curry, Rice Bhakri and Rice served with salads. Surmai Thali was the most popular among all Thali. It includes Surmai Fry, Surmai Curry, Rice Bhakri and Rice with salad. We also ordered Pink Champagne which was one the best Mocktails we ever had. Fully refreshing and superb The Restuarant was packed with all seafood lovers. To make evening special there was live singing performances was also going on.

I'll start with the points which are worth mentioning. The best part of the restaurant by far is the view which is adjacent to the swimming pool followed by the beach. Tip: Try to find a place close to the swimming pool or do your reservations accordingly. The next best thing is the breakfast buffet which has a huge spread and probably has most of the items that people are looking for in breakfast. In terms of taste it doesn't disappoint you, it's actually very good. If you have booked a room here, the breakfast buffet is complimentary. Now coming to the downside i.e. the lunch and dinner buffet. The price is exorbitant which is expected when you talk about an upscale place. But the spread has just 2-3 items in Non-Veg. The taste for majority of the items is extremely bland. I wish I could have said they had a bad day. Alas that is not the case as I had the same experience when I visited this place few times earlier as well. They should improve the food quality standards and make the spread more interesting if they want to fill the empty tables. At present, I noticed mostly members staying the hotel visiting the restaurant. There is no option for people staying in the hotel as there aren't any decent restaurants in the close vicinity.

A pleasant beach side restaurant. Fine and classy Ambience. The only problem is the place has many mosquitos and been on beach side has fishy smell on outside. Food is good but expensive.. overall nice place to chill and spend evening. The pool is cool.

High Tide If you are a seafood lover and especially mad about Prawns, Fish and Lobster trust me Koli Seafood Festival is the best place for you. The Resort near Aksa beach is a huge property. Their In-house restaurant High Tide is hosting Koli Seafood festival which is there till 28th March 2020 and only available on Saturday. They have 5 different varieties of Thalis in this festival namely Stuffed Pomfret Thali, Prawns Thali, Surmai Fry Thali, Surami Gravy Thali and Lobster Thali. So, me and my partner chose Stuffed Pomfret Thali and Prawns Thali. Both the thalis were good. Solkadhi was disappointment. Service was bit slow as per their standard. Overall, if you love seafood and want to taste something different, then visit this place. Food: 4/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 4/5 P.S: The review is strictly depending on my personal experience.

While the food and the ambience was great, the service was downright poor. The staff was not interested in serving us and it took forever for them to find spoons for us to eat the food. I do hope the staff is given some more training or guidance specially for a resort claiming to be a 5 star establishment.
