It's not often that one finds a shop as great and as full of unexpected surprises as Jamal Mir. We had suits tailor made, found great pashmina scarves and bought a wonderful carpet to be delivered at our doorstep! Great advice, friendly people and great service. We'll definitely keep in touch Mubashir!

Irshad Ahmad and the rest of the Jamal Mir team were extremely pleasant to work with and quite knowledgeable about the carpets they offer. A friend and I viewed about 50 carpets altogether but the staff never made us feel rushed. They were very attentive to finding a carpet that met our desires. They also treated us to some delicious tea while we ran through the carpet options. I bought two lovely carpets and can’t wait to walk barefoot on them at home, as opposed to in the store, as pleasant as that was . Shipping to the USA was simple. Lastly, I had to revise my original delivery date because of travel changes and they easily made the requested changes. Thanks Jamal Mir team!
TL:DR - genuine establishment with good quality products. Could improve communications I was bough here by my driver when visiting the gateway and, a little unwillingly, had a browse of some jewelry. I had looked at some moonstone pendants in another shop and the ones here were a lot less expensive than at Jamal Mir. I took a punt and paid about 150. Having a look online since I'm not sure if this is cheap but I don't feel ripped off in the slightest and my wife loves it. On the way out I saw a dinner jacket and got ropped into trying it on. I fancied it in an unusual colour so the attendent showed me some samples. The idea of ordering a jacket to be made and sent made me SUPER SUSPICIOUS! my mum got burned in Thailand buying stuff that never arrived. But the guy showed me looks of invoices for FedEx and I thought it was worth the risk at c170. Anyway... I then got no communication for about 2 weeks until FedEx sent me a message to pay the ikorit duties. The jacket is just great.... I love it. Its a perfect fit and beautifully made. So anyway.... I've trialled this place so you don't have to. I would say your more safe buying here than most. I would buy again.
These people sold me a bracelet and said it was 18ct Gold , but I have been informed by my local Jeweller that it is FAKE and just costume Jewellery. These people are just thieves, they just caught me off guard and stole my hard earned money. TOURISTS BEWARE !! * DO NOT BUY FROM THESE TRICKSTERS.*
I bought two five piece suits made to measure from this shop, I thought it was a reputable shop right next to the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. I was told I would receive 1. Jacket 2 . Trousers 3. Waistcoat 4. Shirt 5. Tie The waistcoats did not arrive I emailed the shop and they told me that the fifth item was the pocket lining of the breast pocket ! they said it became a pocket square when it was pulled up ! Can you believe that ! They are now ignoring my emails . Be careful ! I was deceived , very disappointed. The following pictures show the defective cloth that they supplied in one of the suits . I would give zero stars here if that was an option. I would not recommend dealing with this shop .
Carpets, carpets and some more. And each more beautiful than the other. Loved the ambience. Loved how attentive everyone was. Irshad Ahmed was the person who attended to us and I was really impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. A wonderful place to shop in.
I see my poor review of this business has disappeared. Be very careful . They are dishonest. I proved my case to the credit card company but because I allowed a charge for 2 rugs so they would not remove the amount the amount they over charged me. I had no recourse . They were so desperate to prove their case they forged my signature to a final no return bill. Shame on them.
A wonderful store. We came to Jamal Mir three times during our stay in India and ended up buying pashmina and a small carpet. Junaid Baba was a great host who took his time to explain the craftsmanship while serving us tea from Kashmir.
