Amazon India Promotes and allows to sell smuggled grey market electronics without official warranty . Simply put by allowing smuggled good to sell Amazon India is encouraging smuggling and providing their platform and reach to organized criminal activity causing ligitimate revenue losses to government of India as customs duty and other taxes are evaded. This activity is exactly in defiance to the very basic undertakings and assurances given to Government of India for fair trade practices and very basis of being granted licence to operate in India. Government of India should take notice and stop these US ecomm sites to exploit Recognized and ligitimate Indian Companies and local genuine trades...for approx. 7% to 8% commission they charge for selling Grey Market , illegally smuggled , Without Warranty Electronics on their Amazon India ecomm portal website
