One of the best place for morning stroll. The trail is 5 Kms and opens at 6am. Migratory birds and animals like monkeys and peacocks can be seen in early hours and the walk is peaceful with scenic beauty all around. The entry fees is just 30 rupees and monthly pass 50 bucks, a calculation I still haven't wrapped my head around.

Amazing place to connect with nature... There are towers built for bird watching and a beautiful lake. Morning hours in winters are just awesome as the lake is covered with fog. A must visit near the city for those who are looking to connect with nature and peace.
Gorewada Nature Trail Quite close to the city centre, this trail is an excellent place for nature enthusiasts and bird watchers. The trail is roughly 3km one way and has 30 rs entry fees. At the start of the trail there is a small garden area. The marsh surrounding the main body of the Gorewada lake provides a suitable habitat for various species of avian fauna. It's a great place to spot some migratory and local birds. Winters would be the best time for the same.
