It has been lot of development in last 4-5 Years to Nalasopara Railway station. Platform no.1 has been widen to twice of average platforms of Mumbai. Four New bridges has been added to the station along with one Elevators each on two Platforms. Each platforms has been extended to be fit for upcoming 15 Car Trains. However Nalasopara has the most numbers of Commuters traveling everyday. Probably the most crowded stations of Mumbai. In the Weekdays Morning you just can't get into the Train, going towards Churchgate if you're not athletic person. People have to first go to Virar and then return back with same trains for going towards Churchgate. Some Trains are now started from Nalasopara also but very few in numbers. One bridge has been demolished for redevelopment. Therefore still lot of growth is yet to be achieved for matching such huge crowd.

Nalla Sopara Station - The Madly Crowded Station I Can Say. Yahaan Log Superman Hai... Chalti Train Mein Chadh Jaate Hai Aur Utar Bhi Jaate Hai! Very Crowded During Morning And Evening... But Busy All The Time. Fine Place For Markets Including Food Stalls, Clothes, Shopping And Vegetables Which Is Towards East Of Station. Can Catch Sharing Rickshaw For Visiting Sopara Phata, Gaurai Naka, Rehman Nagar, Wakhan Pada... Prices From 20-25 Rs. Per Passenger. Towards West There Are Developing And Developed Buildings. North Indians Crowd Dominate Here...And Small Scale Business Is The Most Centred And Practicing Business With Some Large Scale Business... Nigerians Have Also Been Found Here... Their Numbers Have Increased In These Past Years. You Can Get Trains For Churchgate Which Gets Fast After Borivali (If You Chose Fast Train) And Virar (Slow)...Their Frequency Is Good... Also For Palghar Dahanu Road Trains Are Available (Slow) Or Else Go To Virar And Catch Trains For It!
