Only Ramsar site of Gujarat, a wetland of international importance. For better birding, one should walk on peripheral area, and not boating.

It is one of the largest bird sanctuary situated near Sanand, Ahmedabad. It has a huge lake. Different bird species migrate here during winter immediately after the Indian monsoon season. Flamingos, pelicans, storks, herons, etc. Are some of the bird species that migrate here. You can see these birds during morning 9:00-11:30 hours and from 14:00-16:30 hours. You can take your camera with a paid receipt and also go for boating to capture pictures of these birds from near. The sanctuary staff take you till the lake from Parking spot in their vehicle.

Loved this place as i like photography so, but if you want to see more and enjoy actually must come in morning time and do boating in between sarovar, it charges you not more than 300
