Firstly, this but a very mild form of camping (they do the fire, the food is provided, you are right near the road, etc.). If you have never camped before or have small kids (like us), this is ideal, but this is not an extreme adventure/the great out doors or anything. The positives: the place was actually quite nice, the food was decent (and portions generous), and they had a reasonable number of activities to do, at least for an overnight stay. Feedback for Ground Zero: 1) Learn to manage a fire. All the wood was placed right away, so the "Bonfire" quickly fizzled out in 15-20 minutes. If they had bought enough wood/properly managed the fire, it should be able to last 2-3 hours 2) There could have been greater variety in food/beverage options. For example, while the lime soda and milkshakes were good, it would have been nice to have fresh juice (watermelon? Orange? Pineapple?) especially in the morning 3) The back door was locked so we were unable to go for a walk early in the morning (note this is extremely mild trekking. There is effectively some space behind the gate with a pond and a nice view of the mountains. If you are serious about trekking, it is near enough to Nandi Hills to go there as well) 4) While having lights at night is good (eg. to go to the bathroom) the halogen light was way too bright making it hard to sleep and perhaps more importantly, making it hard to see the stars (which to me is part of the point of camping). Way too many lights (and since the gate is locked for safety we couldn't go out to see them either) They get 4 stars because while there was a lot to improve it was quite cheap so great value for money

Good place for camping and night stay. Dinner and breakfast included. Went with a group of 7 friends. You get welcome drink when you arrive which was refreshing lemonade. There is a lake behind the facility, 10 mins walk. A couple of games, cricket and bow and arrow available. Snooker table but is chargeable. Even uno was available. Morning trekking option is available at 6.30am if there are more than 10 persons available. Bon fire at night was good. You have to arrange for music (we got small bluetooth speaker), and silent time starts at 11pm, where we played music on cell at low volume. Dinner included one veg and one non veg curry. Breakfast included puri chole and rice with raita. Tea and coffe is also provided with breakfast. Outside food is not allowed. Beer is available, you can bring your own alcohol but need to pay cover charge per head. Overall good experience.

My husband and I booked a night to stay at the camp. Location was nice and quite, perfect place to camp with safety. The place is clean. But, due to some management issue our stay was ruined. 90% of items in the menu were not available. Whatever food available was tasteless. We were told at the time of booking, that they have activities and a hike to nearby place. No activities, we could just roam about in the near by pond, play badminton in the lawn, with no net. Night would have been good at the silent place but to our bad luck, some group of people came over and started to have chat and fun for the entire night. As we know the camps aren't sound proof, we were disturbed by them and couldn't sleep for even a minute. I would not suggest this place to anyone, the management doesn't care about the customer's requirements.
