It's a good initiative by the government, once completed it will be a big book for the local population as they will have an additional means of public transportation which will be easily available & accessable. Though full potential of the project will only be unlocked once it gets connected to Mumbai metro.

Under construction of the planned infra structure to cope with the development and public transport system in Navi Mumbai. In spite of protest by some locals for the inconvenience hope will be operational by 2020 having 20 stations, 4 coaches.and 23.4 km length since CIDCO had already overcome barriers to complete the first phase
It's under construction, design is robust and looks solid. According to the govt target 2023 is the last date to complete the project and most probably in 2023 we can enjoy the metro ride via this station to Kharghar Railway Station. It's very beneficial for the biggest organized society I.e. Raghunath Vihar and the commercial complex opposite to it.
