Bu Halima Ernclosure 16th Century This grand gateway led to the tomb- garden of Bu Halima, of whom not much is known. The facade of the gateway is chamfered, and remnants of tileworlk can still be seen. Ornate domed canopies surmount the two northern bastions of the garden wall. The western wall of the garden was breached in the 19th century to allow access for visitors.

The Humayun's Tomb complex is probably my favourite historical site in Delhi. The complex is a beautiful park with a lot of old ruins. Most importantly, it is such a peaceful and calm place that one almost forgets that they are in Delhi. It is a lovely place to come picnicking and/or escape the hustle and bustle of Delhi. Humayun's tomb is considered to be the precursor to/ model for the Taj Mahal. The difference is that unlike the Taj Mahal, the construction of Humayun's Tomb was funded by a wife grieving for her husband. As the other similar complexes in Delhi, there many old tombs around - some of them almost in their original state and others are just an indistinguishable pile of stones. The Humayun's Tomb complex is definitely one of the places to visit if you are in Delhi.

Clearly the strangest looking tomb I've ever visited, as such it doesn't even look like a tomb and we have very little info about who Bu Haleema. All of this adds a mystery to this dwarf in the complex. Entry is closed but you have a ladder, fancy going on top through it.
