The centre works in the areas of suistainable energy , algal biomass, waste water treatment, pulp and paper technology, Scientific way of mushroom cultivation, Food process and engineering, Process of forest and agricultural product, environmental technology etc. The research in sustainable energy includes Biogas production, Compressed biogas (CBG), Separation of carbon dioxide from biogas and its utilization, Thermochemical conversion of biomass and applications, Adsorbed biogas etc.
