What an amazing homestay! We stayed with Vinay and Veena for one night, our first night in Delhi (and India). They are both such warm and friendly people, it's incredible! When we arrived (at 7 am, pretty dead after the flight), they offered us breakfast and we spoke for a bit (they have such amazing family stories!), after which we went to take a nap. The room is great: perfectly clean, with a private bathroom (with hot water), and a portable heater (very handy for December nights). The breakfast is in the living room, which is in the common area. The breakfast was completely delicious (and very varied: toasts, chutney, omelettes, fried pattys, joghurts and more!), and we were fed until we were very full. It felt a little bit like when you visit your grandparents ). The area where the apartment is located is very safe, we always felt like we could walk there without any problems. It is also very quiet in the apartment: you only hear birds outside (some peacocks live nearby). Although we only stayed for one night, Vinay and Veena were kind enough to let us store our luggage at the apartment for 8 days while we backpack around Rajasthan. I cannot emphasize enough how kind and friendly they were. I would recommend this homestay for couples, families, solo travellers looking for a quieter stay in Delhi with homelike hospitality and warmness.

I stayed here for one day only and experience was so nice that whenever I will come to Delhi now I would like to stay here..... Vinay sir and his lovely wife lives live and they are such a lovely couple.....u fell like u are at ur own home...they care for us like their own children... The Place is very nice, in heart of city but it's so peaceful, clean and green. Food is home cooked, delicious and cooked from fresh supply If u want to have good and comfortable stay in delDe...this is the place...
I stayed with my family here. As it was our first experience of homestay we were a little apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised to see the place. The location and the property is excellent. Vinay & Veena are perfect host and the best part is they enjoy the guest's company. They are highly educated couple and their class and dignity is difficult to find today. It is not only a profession for them but a passion. We feel lucky to find this place and the lovely couple.
Stayed for one night. Host one room at a time only. Very accommodating as I arrived in Kashmere gate at 430 AM. I was able to check in then and was provided a delicious breakfast. These hosts are the Indian grandparents I wish I had. They are great people overall. Highly recommend and would stay again.
It was a short but a lovely stay. Both uncle and aunty were very warm, friendly and full of anecdotes. They really made us feel comfortable and at home. Rooms and the view from the room is quiet pleasing to the eye and you must not be shocked to find a peacock waking you up at your window in the morning. But, nevertheless it's the people which make your stay quite an unforgettable one.
Home ..........away from home!!! Felt like we are with a guardian .
