I joined DGIC just to learn about diamond that too out of curiosity, but as I started getting indepth knowledge of it, so I enrolled for JM course too, before even my course got completed I started getting small orders for diamond jewellery which I completed with confidence. Ashish sir is very supportive in everyday. His indepth knowledge is commendable. I am blessed to be the mentee of Ashish Sir. Planning for Diamond sorting course too. The teaching method was phenomenal. The Diamond grading course taught me everything about diamonds i.e Local trade terms, how to grade them ( colour, clarity, cut, carat.) Differentiate b/w CVD, SM , CZ and natural diamond. The course also taught us about pricing, diamond assortment and how to assort them into 600 different packets ( in india) Ashish sir, the teacher of our course would also share his personal experience over the years in his business, and we learnt on how not to make the same mistakes and profit on his feedbacks. Overall I would say, the course was not just about diamonds, but how to trade, do marketing and how to grow your jewellery business. Kaushal Jalan.
