My name is Amandeep Singh and I have done a course in fashion designing from JD Institute of Fashion Technology. JD Institute is one of the best institutes in Delhi. The faculty there is amazing and experienced and very helpful. The college has provided me great experience in the fashion industry, making me participate in various fashion shows. The Fashion Awards that are held every year are a great platform where we can showcase our talent in front of wide and distinguished audiences. The college has helped me to improve and polish my skills. The mentors there are very supportive. I got a lot of exposure with numerous events. This college has given me an opportunity to take a step closer to my passion and success. I am thankful to JD for placing me with ace designer of the country, Ms Rina Dhaka. I am contributing, and at the same time, learning a lot under her guidance. I am an important part of the production team, social media marketing, and fashion show meetings and photo shoots. I am happy and proud to be a Jediiian.

Being a South Indian (Tiruppur). All i saw growing up is garments and it’s manufacturing processes. Fascinated by the process I always wanted to make stuffs which are unique and elegant. Having so much dream about fashion without not much knowledge in it, it was difficult to choose a career path in fashion with not a lot of opportunities around in place to learn fashion. After days of prolonged searching I found JD institute of technology. I was fascinated by the elegance of the process a designer undergo. The opportunity was appropriate for me to express myself in the art of fashion. Being in JD is a life changing experience. I have enhanced myself to understand perspectives. The learning culture in JD is unique and I believe i was allowed to learn from my mistakes, having such a passionate teachers with extreme patience. I enjoyed learning in JD with the exposure collage provides. It was a delight to learn from akshara ma’am, who guided me in TFA.
