I first met Nikhil at his Hauz Khas store in 2016 when I happened to drop into the store. I came away with some excellent garments. Since then I have purchased a number of times from the online store plus had two jackets made. The quality of all garments has been excellent as has their service. The most recent jacket was a Vitale Barberis Canonico fabric. Nikhil sent me images of some fabric options and provided some advice on the colour and style of the jacket. Modern classics crafted extremely well! That'll be my brand association with Lacquer Embassy. Though I'm not one for shopping online, the minimalist aesthetics of their line was really eye-catching and made me reach out to Nikhil. He was super-helpful in helping me pick out a piece I'd like, and customized it to the smallest detail. :) It was delivered quick, and I am really happy with the shirts I tried out. Brands like these remind one of what we miss with mainstream high street fashion :) These guys will be my go to for shirts!
