This monument stands in tribute to Jayaprakash Narayan, the 20th century Indian Independence leader and political leader also known for his protests against corruption in Bihar in the 1960s. The statue is located in the memorial park that bears his name and is sited on top of a dais, visible from just about every corner of the park. The monument is a larger than life sculpture of Narayan dressed in 3 peice casual Indian suit and wearing an Gandhi cap. His left hand is holding his waistcoat by the chest, which his right hand is resting on a walking stick. The monument is not a must see, but it’s worth a detour if your in the park or visiting the nearby Feroz Shah archaeological park.

Very peaceful place to set your mind on your goal
Reasonable a good well maintained park. It should bar playing cricket. Jai Prakash Narain & Shyama Prasad Mukerji' s huge statues have been installed here. Could have potential for better management. Plantation is good. Opposite, Sahid Bhagat Singh Park is located.
