The Only Destination for Authentic Handmade Carpets Its very seldom that you come across an authentic handmade carpet store. Upon my research, I came across Yak Carpet which is one of the oldest handmade carpet store not only in New Delhi, India but all of Asia. I visited their store and was truly amazed to see their vast collection of beautiful carpets. I ended up buying 2 piece which are beautifully sitting in my living room. Highly recommend this store, and also meeting Mr. Talwar who is a very knowledgeable man.

Best Store to Buy Rugs and Carpets- I was visiting Delhi and wanted to fulfill my quest for owning a beautiful Persian Carpet. On searching online, I did stumble upon Yak Carpet and visited their main store. I was amazed to see a huge variety of Persian carpets at fair prices. I couldn't resist and ended up buying two exclusive Persian carpets. Very satisfied.

Visiting Yak Carpet was a definite highlight of our trip to India. Upon dropping into the store, my husband and I, along with a friend, were all warmly welcomed by Harash, his daughter Sakshi and their staff. We were honestly treated like royalty. We received not only an education in the history and quality of carpets, we enjoyed the presentation of an incredible array in size and design. We purchased a stunning silk Kashan carpet that is one-of-a-kind and will look beautiful in our home. (Our house is currently being renovated - we will share pictures of the carpet once the work is completed). The whole visit was a truly extraordinary experience. It felt like we had gone back in time and experienced what customer service used to be - attentive, honest, patient and knowledgable. And we left with a well-priced, exquisitley-crafted carpet that is a work-of-art. What a wonderful way to remember and honour our time in India. Thank you Harash and Sakshi for a most memorable and pleasant visit. We look forward to staying in touch.
