Its a good experience, if you go with your friends it will be an awesome experience. It's good to take photos also. Remember its not suitable for swimming and jumping into it. The width of the path is short and the depth of water is up to the lower chest. If you try to swim, your hand will rub on the walls and your legs will drag on the base. And don't ever try to jump into it. I go through a worst experience. By looking from the banks I thought enough depth is there. I just jumped in to it by closing my legs, my legs hit hard on the floor and my two legs injured. It takes 2,3 weeks to have a normal walk.

Worth visiting this place , nice place to enjoy with your friends but unfortunately most of the areca plants (kavungu) chopped down ,however I feel it's place worth visiting . Towels and shorts are available from the near by shops7

The perfect place to visit and enjoy during summer season.The water from canal is so cool that makes us a great feel. The water flowing through the canal is from the Bhoothathankettu dam.This canal is the aquadate of this dam.Water in the canal is the overflow water of this dam. The height of water is up to the neck for a normal person. Better to not swim by knowing this because it make injury by hitting on the side concrete walls. The area of this place is so scenic,the wind from the Paddy field is also cool which gives a refreshment after the bath. Small shops are available for tea and snacks. It's 7km from the Kothamangalam town. The parking area is also available. Nice place to visit for one day trip.Thettekadu bird sanctuary is also near to this place.
