It is a very beautiful and well maintained aquarium. It is a perfect place for the ones who want to know about fishes and marine animals. It has a large variety of both small and big fishes. The aquariums and well designed and lighted. Some rare species of marine animals can also be seen like the sting rays. The ticket is very cost effective which is Rs. 30 for adults and the half for children. Outside the aquarium is a beautiful fountain and benches for the convince of people. Try to carry food and essentials along with you because the steet food available outside is not so good. Overall you can have a great fun and also you can catch the birsa zoological park which is just at a distance nearby on the same road.
Nice place away from the city and has good collection of fishes ranging from amazon basin fishes to indian origin. The fishes are properly maintained and a good location with respect to photography. You can have a good outing with friends and family on weekends.

It is a very beautiful and well maintained aquarium in the whole state and much better than aqua world. It is well maintained and has a huge variety of aquatic animals including snail, eels and ray other than fishes. All aquariums are well designed and lighted. Also the tickets are cheap costing only 30 rupees for adult and half that for children. Please do take care that while taking pictures you don't use flash because it is highly injurious for the aquatic animals. Though it is clearly stated but still people are doing this.
