What an experience. It was a last minute call at around 3 pm to go for trekking and night camping. Online search resulted into many places but it was the fate to have an wonderful experience on that day. Called Rajgad Maachi and everything was ready before we reached by 7 pm. The farm stay is just 500-600 mtrs away from the entrance to the trek for Pali darwaja. As soon as we reached the dinner was ready alongwith hot tea. The tents are good for occupancy of 2 adults and 2 kids. We started the trek at 5 am in the morning after served with hot tea. They also gave us breakfast as there are no shops on the fort. Overall we enjoyed tent stay, night treking, day treking and wonderful food in 24 hours at a very reasonable price. Thanks Rajgad Maachi.
1st time visited Rajgad Maachi, and boy I was blown away with everything it has to offer. Absolutely loved the every moment of it. Best for me was quality time with Family. Food was awesome and so was the people. Rajgad as is called by Historians...Garudache Gharate(Eagle's Nest) here Eagle is my favourite King of Kings Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, it give me goose bumps and the memories of good old friends and Time. Thanks to Mr. Sujit Joshi who is wonderful host and very keenly interested in getting us the best of the service. No words are enough. Looking forward to seeing, visiting again already!!! Must destination for every nature & History lover. Thanks again.
We... Pune Hams organise Field Day on 12/13 Dec 2020 at Rajgad Machi farmstay. The owner and his team has made such good arrangements for stay,food, sanitation of premises. All 12 members are liked the arrangement and their hospitality ..... So nice ....thanks a lot Mr Joshi.....We will definitely come back next year....

Mr. Joshi's rajgad maachi farm stay is right at the footstep of rajgad fortess. With good hygiene maintained it gives you a very relaxing and pleasent stay experience. The support staff ratan & his family makes a perfect host in making sure all the requirements are fulfilled. Overall on my experience rajgad machi farm stay can easily accomodate a large group of hikers who wants hike near by fortess like rajgad or torna and wants to experience stay in nature. Good for women & solo hikers as per safety and convenience.
Great historic place, awesome nature. Good place for camping. For trek you have to be a fit. Don't go in main rainy season. Please don't throw plastic in jungle and on fort. keep it clean
