Very good place for picnic , camping on banks of river Damodar . Best time is October to February. Avoid during summer and monsoon season. From NH19 take the exit for Palla Road .. just before ( or after based on which direction you are coming from ) palsit toll plaza. Place is near State irrigation department bungalow..( its a restricted area only state govt "Honu" workers ( they do any productive work ???) Are allowed.. Don't get into arguments with illegal sands excavation mafias here to avoid trouble if you are an outsider ..
