The place should NOT call itself fine dining. There is a huge metallic barricade from ceiling to the floor, dividing the restaurant in 2 parts. It makes the entire place look like a factory warehouse. The tables are placed right next to this ugly and dirty structure, that has probably never been cleaned. The place is infested with a million mosquitoes. What an unpleasant and unsanitary experience. There was no digitised menu or a scan code to see the menu. A physical menu was still being handed out. We had requested for the menu to three different members of the staff and they finally handed it over after 15 minutes. About the food - Wine - the wine that we ordered from the menu was not available. Sushi - very sad in its taste and not rolled properly. It was constantly falling apart. The tempura flakes were excessively oily and stale. Green curry - it is NOT served with rice as is usually the norm. You need to order an overpriced bowl of rice separately. The green curry was very oily and I could see only oil floating around. The only decent thing about the curry was that the vegetables seemed fresh and crunchy. Well that liking did not last for too long. As the kitchen was clearly visible from our table, I could see that the chefs were not wearing gloves while preparing food. They were constantly picking up vegetables kept on ice from a common pile with bare hands. The restaurant is in extremely dilapidated condition. The floor was dusty with dusty shoe prints clearly visible. Horrible experience with the ambience and the food. Please avoid this place as it only sullies the name of ITC.

Had tried their brunch menu here and had an amazing experience. There were a huge options for starters and mains. Tried the chicken, fish, dumplings, soup, satays etc. Loved the sushi section here. Had almost 10-12varieties of sushis in both veg and non veg options and all of them tasted so good. The main course was equally amazing. The dessert section and needs addition of few more options but whatever was there tasted great. The hospitality is good. Ended the meal with refreshing jasmine tea. They had no drink option in the brunch. Overall, had a commendable dining experience here.
Easily one of the better options in the city for Chinese/ Asian fare. However given a choice would pick one of the tangra restaurant for different experience
Been frequenting pan asian for the last 3 years . The food and the lovely ambience of this restaurant has never let me down. A must visit place for all the pan asian cuisine lovers. A great place for first timers to this cuisine . The staff is very friendly and create a memorable dining experience .
This is my first visit at Pan Asian restaurant at ITC Sonar Kolkata and I am impressed with the food and hospitality. Food: excellent mouth watering taste and flavour. We have tasted prawn tempura, chicken takrai, phad siew (Thai speciality - wok fried flat noodles), chicken xoullong bao (dimsum), hot mud pie with vanilla ice cream. Each and every item was delicious. Hospitality: Jeewan, one of the staffs, was always with us to guide us to choose the best food and all other staffs were ready to extend their support. We were happy to meet the chef. Ambience was good. Particularly those, who are interested in cooking will enjoy the preparation at live kitchen. Light music at the background added more glamour to the ambience. Safety: safety and cleanliness were given priority. Physical distancing and minimum contact services maintained at the restaurant. Overall impression: this place is a must visit for those who love east and south east Asian food. I had an excellent overall experience.
Extremely nice place n service specially for families with small kids. Peace of mind, amazing taste and even better service. Jerry the head chef is fun with kids when he shows his kitchen magic n art to them .Abdul from the service team is a fantastic guy to be around your table.. recommendation of Fish TAKRAI and Coconut icecream was something new for us. Kids really enjoyed!!
Average food. Extremely overpriced for the quality. The interiors are a major buzzkill. Mosquitoes flying in the restaurant. It’s far from a fine dine experience.
