It is spread in large area so it is advisable to visit this place in a private vehicle. Though many parts of the Fort have fallen but one can make out the grandeur of the past by looking at the various places out there! Lots of things for children to have a gala time. The view of the villages at the foot hills is awesome. Overall to say this is best place to visit with your friends and family.

One of the best historical place. Well Known fort near to kolhapur. Must visit in rainy season you will get awesome atmosphere with fogs. Also you will get lots of stall selling zunka bhakari.

Panhala is a amazing historical place to visit .... Specially is a weekend place for kolhapurkars to chill over there ...to see the fort,buruj,tabak garden and the food over the stalls is also good specially jhunka bhakri and other food options are also available ... Over all its a good place to visit with a family ,friends etc.
