Vazhani dam is situated nearby wadakkanchery . An exciting place to spend an evening with family . I always enjoyed visiting vazhani as it is nearby my home. The government is developing it with new activities . people started recognizing it and they are reaching there . safe place to come with family as it is surrounded by villiages . Do visit and have fun .and very importantly there are shops for food and neat toilets .

Utmost information, Good amenities, helpful staff. A beautiful tourist destination. Not far away from Thrissur or National Highway.
It is a very calm and quiet place for enjoy a day with family and friends. Must carry some food because there is not much hotels or restaurants for getting good foods(*except some street food and ice-cream). Good place for walking and exploring the forest. It was a very nice moments with my friends.
You can enjoy a half day trip to Vazhani dam is you are in and around Thrissur. The dam and reservoir are not too big but is worth watching. A reasonably good garden is well maintained near the dam. There is a moderate entrance fee for visitors and cameras. Luckily they have maintained the toilets well. A food court is also available inside.
Scenic spot.. well maintained park.. beautiful construction of dam...easy to reach.. good to go even in a hot climate.. shadey trees.. rockgarden is also there.. swimming pool is also available.. rest rooms are well maintained..
It was a good experience at peechi vazhani wild life and view from the dam it beautiful
Good for a short visit, earth dam -cool to see if you are natural lover. Got small kids park but not well maintained
