One of the heritage buildings in Bihar, created in 1825 with concurrent boundaries for revenue and police purpose consisting of the District to Patna until 1865. Located behind St. Joseph Convent near Gandhi Maidan the district court deals with all kind matters of trial level including suits, bails, criminal and civil cases. New 6 storeyed building has also been constructed in the premises.

Well maintained court

The newly constructed building add to a well maintained infrastructure in the Patna civil court. But the public should know how to take care of it. Courtrooms are fitted with a/c, nice comfortable chairs and lightning but people are spitting gutka and paan here and there in the premises. This should not be done and fine should be imposed if anyone is found doing so.
