A few decades ago, this lake was the primary source of water supply to Ahmednagar city. The surroundings are picturesque and area is good picnic spot. Poorly maintained, with filth and trash around. Needs proper care and maintenance.
Nice lake but looks also bad when there is no water. Security is almost nothing n no people rush is mostly, so not much secure
