I bought the Frido 2000 model for my Dad who is 80 yrs . He has a fractured right leg and a dislocated right shoulder . After research of a lot of wheel chairs we shortlisted the above model as it can be accommodated on a commode easily and can be used as a regular chair when applied with a seat cover which should has to be bought as an extra. Due to its easily maneuvering character you can take it to a lot of tight spaces. The team of designers at this brand have given a good thought to the requirements of the patients and have succeeded to provide the right ease of use and assembly . This chairs handels are removable which facilitate the easy access to and from the chair which is of prime importance to the person getting on and off the chair . Overall very satisfied with the product and hope Arcatron continues with the philosophy of making pracitcal and good quality products till its existence. Highly recommended products after doing your own research.

I had used Arcatron Mobility's My Frido during my trip to Jordan to represent India in a wheelchair Table Tennis tournament. I had a comfortable stay there and was able to focus on the competition primarily due to Frido. Before the journey, at my home, I practiced assembling the unit by myself, and I could do that without any problems. Since, it is a simple process, any differently-abled person with strong hands can do it. Hence, when I reached the hotel room, I was able to assemble it by myself. By holding Frido at certain vantage points, I am able to flip or move around it, then insert the large wheels, bring back to the normal position, and so forth. Due to the sturdy nature of the Frido, it was optimally stable. Hence, I could shift from my wheelchair or bed to Frido and vice versa without any trouble. I managed bowel movements without any restrictions, as I could reach my hands from either sides as well as from backwards. For bathing also, Frido was really helpful. As the bath shower was not near to the commode in the hotel room, the self-propelling aspect helped me there. The sports wheelchair type leg rest was really helpful for maneuvering in short corners. To sum it up, the functional aspects of Frido worked superbly and helped me a lot. Overall, it was an excellent experience, as Frido completely fulfilled the purpose it meant to. So, thank you so much, Arcatron Mobility. You were there to assist me in actualizing my dream of traveling alone and representing India in an International tournament. It is just the start, I am wishing for many more comfortable, enriching, and rewarding journeys with Frido in the future.
