Had used services for Clearing & Forwarding my personal items (FCL ) arriving at JNPT from Doha on transfer of residence basis. In spite of repeated queries that container cannot be delivered at house, I was assured of the same by Mr Atul. On arrival in India on 18/11, I handed over my two passports for necessary documentation & clearance. Once passport was handed over, blackmailing & cheating started. I was told that container cannot be brought to house. I had to pay huge sum much higher than agreed amount for delivery at house. After paying online much higher amount (than agreed as informed by them through email) and deducting prior agreed discount, they starting asking for further amount as service tax & other taxes which were not part of final amount and did not handover the passports. Passports are with them since more than 45 days. On visiting their office found that only two person are working who call themselves as directors of the company. They only carry out documentation & all other works. I found them highly unethical & unprofessional and strongly recommend for not using their services. In case services are being used, not to give critical official or personal documents, which may be used to black mail or extract undue amount which were not agreed. Not sure that my passports are in shape. May be these are delaying tactics to cover up some other issues. Planning to lodge FIR for recovering/ making new passport as advised by police personnel
