Very dedicated, knowledgeable and passionate chefs whose aim is to please your palate. Do try their exotic dishes from the Himalayas and other cuisines which I am almost sure that you will never find in Pune or Mumbai.

Amazingly tasty food and to top it off the owner is very friendly. He personally attends each and every customer, explains each dish in detail and authenticity of the food. Their ambience is really nice. An amazing place with amazing food. Loved it.

Well..where do I start!? Hubby & I were searching for a restaurant good at both 'veg & non-veg' dishes.! Et voila..we reached D'hungry Mogambo and ordered for pork ribs and Litthi chaukha. According to hubby..the pork ribs has set a bench mark today. The meat was soft, succulent and oozing out flavours. He found it outstanding. Talking about Litthi Chaukha..first I thought it must be same as Dal baati..but to my surprise it was altogether a different dish..with loads of mustard flavour to it. Didn't know you just need to pop 1/2 of this garnished litthi in your mouth just like Pani Puri. The staff there was very welcoming and Ambience was nice. Lastly, the Food was so amazing that we are now turned into D hungry Mogambos and are revisiting them soon.

Great place to have authentic Bihari, Bhutanese and Tibetan food. They have variety of dishes for each of those. Sel roti was really good. Also liked the litti choka. I had really good coffee in very long time. Varsha and Aditya (the owners) were really friendly and looked passionate about there job and food. They have put lot of efforts making the place stand out among others and it does! You can spend all the time discussing the decore. Don't forget to read the menu carefully!

I finally make it to this Bollywood inspired place, and learn that its closing down, since the owners are venturing into a newer business! I'm bummed to hear about this, however I'm sure #theprasads have something more spectacular up their sleeves! Thank you #thehungrymogambo for being great hosts today! The specials of Sloppy #porkribs #mixmeat #thukpa and that freshly brewed #passionfruit #icetea rose up to expectations, and made my #sundaylunch totally worth it! I hope the team at The Hungry Mogambo revisits their love for Tibetan, Nepalese, Bihari and North East cuisine albeit a new venture! I'm assured a lot of #punekars will enjoy the buzz and bounty associated with eating good, warm food; prepared with love, and with beaming smiles ofcourse! Best wishes! #foodgloryfor everyone!

If you are a fan of Himalayan cuisine, this is the the go to place for you. The interior is so simple but so creative and am sure you will have a good laugh about it. The cherry on the cake is the host, his warm welcome and suggestions. I have been here 4 times and have tried many of it. Personal fav chi momos, fired momos, kiva datshee ,chicken datshee, kheer and chow chow. Tip: never mis out on the passion fruit ice tea, it's too good

Oh where so I start !! Food 10/10 That's all am gonna say .. no wait I do have more. I have always loved and seeked out authentic food may it be from anywhere in the world. When apurv connected with me to come and try this new joint serving dishes from Nepal, Bhutan and Bihar I had to head over. I have travelled to Nepal and Bhutan and I just needed to eat a really yummy plate of Momo's to remind me of that amazing place. Bihari food was a whole new ball game. Dishes ordered and recommended Pork momos steamed -- These are by far the best , tastiest, juiciest and succulent Momo's I've ever had after of course my tryst with Nepal. Anyone who visits dhungrymogambo must try their momos. Bother the times I visited I only had the pork ones but am sure the other ones would be just as tasty. Pork ribs -- hello yess if you are a pork fan like me this is the place you shd Gondor the best , juciest and larger than life pork ribs. The size of those bad boys is insane. Of course we were also taught by Aditya how to have them properly so that we serve justice to this amazing dish. Litthi chokha veg-- I was a novice when it came to this dish absolutely clueless on how to aleat and make it jot look like I am trying it for the first time. Litti Chokha is a Bihari recipe made using whole wheat, black gram flour and brinjal/eggplant. This main course recipe has an authentic flavour of Indian spices. The Pitthi (stuffing) which is filled in the litti is made with sattu (powdered gram or lentil) and is eaten with brinjal bharta or mashed potato before adding a whole lot of pure ghee to it. The hot hot litthi was a treat on a rainy evening but we did get two servings of adraj wali chai. I was in awe of how authentic every dish was and how well it was made. The ambiance is an experience u need to have by urself it gets as funky as the name suggests so I say head over now and make the mogambo happy.
