My mother got treated by him for breast cancer. She underwent lumpectomy surgery successfully under his complete care and expertise. He has guided us thoroughly for further treatment. Dr Gajanan Kanitkar is a gem of a doctor. He treated my mother for her breast cancer which had reached second stage. We consulted three doctors before proceeding with him as in the first meeting itself, my ma was impressed with positivity of Dr Kanitkar in assuring her that “everything’s will be okay”! The surgery as well the post surgical process went smooth and to an extent affordable due to medical insurance. He is a genuinely a down to earth and positive person. He knows how to lift the spirits and confidence of his patients. My mom comes all the way from Assam to meet him twice in a year just because he is quite patient in answering all her questions and absolutely gives her the best advices on diet and general well being. I had a thyroid surgery which is done by Dr.Gajanan Kanitkar with precision. The surgery was little complex and multiple doctors said there is high risk of voice hoarseness for several weeks. But thankfully to Dr Gajanan Kanitkar, surgery went well and there is no change in my voice after it. We are glad that we have chosen him for the surgery.
