A different experience altogether. Spring Onions menu is somewhat different from other restaurants around. Amazing ambience. We were offered a place in their second floor restaurant named The 80s.the place really took us to the 80s era with their photo frames across all the walls in the restaurant. A good family time spent.

It's a cozy place to enjoy your food. Go for Hakka noodles without second thought. They do not use ajjinimotto in any of the food items.

Cozy and neat place to be at. Beautiful ambience. I went here for a dinner and that was not a wrong decision at all. I ordered non-vegetarian menu which was nice in taste and quantity. In appetizers I had Prawns chilli dry and that was so lovely. Even the chicken shanghai rice and Chicken Hakka sauce was a great dish. The service was great too.

Nice place for casual dining... Service was little slow. Ask for Mangolian soup .. It's their speaciality. The lemon coriander soup was not that good.Dim sums were good.. I liked the chicken dim sums than veg. Burnt garlic noodles were nice. Overall it was an average experience.

Good food. 4 out of 5. Would have given 5 out of 5 if their sizzler was sizzling.

Food - 2/5 Ambiance - 2/5 Service - 3/5 Food: We visited Spring Onion in Baner for dinner to satisfy Chinese food cravings. We had two starters recommended by them. Peri Peri Chicken, the chicken in did not have flavor or seasoning. The sauce was ok, could have better taste. Other was Chicken Momos in Coriander sauce, this was better than the first starter. For the main course we had Burnt Chilli Rice and Sczhewan Chicken gravy. The rice was not appealing nor flavorful. The sauce was ok-ok not great. Overall the food was not as expected compared to the rates too. Definitely has room for improvement. Ambiance: Its a small place with nice decor but the table arrangement is very close to each other and that bugs me a lot. The kitchen is right below and because of that lot of smoke (chilly smoke) was present in the sitting area. Service: Its better than other things in the restaurant. Parking problem: I went on the bike and when I asked where to park my bike they said to park it on the footpath which is totally against the law. Doesn't matter what time of day/night it is either keep proper parking space if you can't then stop suggesting people to break the law.

A small cozy place where lights are dimmed to get a feel of a discotheque with music of the 80s being played. Food is really good.
