A beautiful resort next to the lake somewhere between Panshet and Lavasa. It's a big property and I would say very well managed. We had a brunch there and I can say it was Value for Money at Rs 150/- per head. There are nice wild walks amidst the bamboo groves and I even spotted a tree house.

Very good place to visit with family & Friends. Situated at backwaters of Varasgaon, owner has manitaned this place very well, food served at this place is good and very hygienic, staff is very supportive. Only problem is reaching this place, road of last 10 kms towards reaching resort is very bad, suggestion to owner need to improve road towards resort.

Surya shibir is always a delight to be at, a really refreshing place blessed with nature's beauty, calmness and serenity. Website displays some wrong information about rates/ tariffs about the room , there's always a problem with digital payments, so keep cash handy, you will not find any ATM nearby. One more thing sometimes the veg menu is very routine and not nicely made, so can't do anything about it.

Good facilities for family outing. Maintained bird avairary. Food quality is upto the mark... Reachable road is patchy... Hopefully local authorities will look into it. All in all plesent experience.

Great place to enjoy a day outing or a night stay with family and friends. Children surely enjoy at birds aviary. Food quality is good and taste is very nice... Lunch,dinner,brkfast, evening snacks have enough options in veg and nonveg... Most of the adventure activities are available like burma bridge, valley crossing, zip line, ropeway, raindace.. But each activity have specific time schedule.. Other than that they won't allow you to play... Reach out to the resort on allocated time.... So you can enjoy Max... If you are going for night stay... Pls make sure for allocation of room types before hand or at the time of booking... Because they have dormitory and separate rooms also.... At the time of booking they assured us that they will provide separate rooms with 3-4 beds... But when we reached there they allocated dormitory.. Which was not suitable for us... Then after lots of arguments they provided separate rooms which was assured earlier... Overall good experience...

Scenic place for 1 day outing or weekend outing. There are many day time activities that can be done during the visit to this place. Some activities have time constraints like rain dance, zipline. The food served at Surya Shibir is good. Lunch and breakfast was good. Dinner was ok. Could be due to less number of people for dinner. But the staff here is co-operative. Visiting this place during rainy season, gives a different experience. Though it's raining continuously, the heavy downpour makes you feel like you are in Cherrapunji.

Great place for groups. Roads to rech the resort is not best but after reaching the resort it's worth. surrounded by great scenic beauty. NICE Food. Breakfast was awesome. No sense of hospitality. Had one day trip which cost us INR 945 (including GST) this includes breakfast, spl.lunch and high tea.
