Here's a detailed review for this lovely property: A boutique hotel, very near to pristine Neeladri beach, and blue flag beach. Shri Jagannath temple, railway station and swargadwar beach/market is easily accessible by auto at an average fare of 80-100 (reserved). Pros: Excellent maintained rooms, with all modern amenities and clean washroom makes your stay comfortable. I travelled with my family, comprising of my parents and little kids. Check out the room pics for a quick view. Tip: go for the super deluxe AC room on 3rd floor, you will love it! Decent room tariff as compared to other properties in vicinity. Tea and snacks are available, but would recommend to try the adjacent restaurant, delicious unlimited full meal with fish or chicken at very decent price. And, the caretaker, Mr. Mandal and his nephew are extremely humble, polite and helpful. Always there to assist you nd cater your needs. Cons: Parking facility needs to be looked upon, hope to see this in my next visit. No lift, senior citizens/differently abled person may find it bit difficult to climb to top floor. It would be better if drinking water arrangements can be made at every floor. Intercoms in rooms needs to be repaired as soon as possible. If you are looking for a decent stay near to beach, at affordable price, go for it!

Had a very refreshing stay at Ocean delight on this New year eve. Property looks a bit shabby and congested in comparison to the five star properties nearby...but rooms are quite nice and specious(check the photos!!!.they are authentic) .. specially it is the support stuffs( 2 of them) who made us feel at home.. we enjoyed the delicious homely preparations made by them and they always attended to our request with a smile...what else can you ask for?
Hotel is very good for family. From outside it looks like lodge but once you enter its room you can feel the beauty of room. All rooms are AC and attach bathroom with gyser equip. Rooms are categorised in three groups. Ground floor AC three rooms. 1st floor has three AC deluxe room with small fridge in room. 2nd floor has three AC suites. Hotel staffs are very helpful. There is no restaurant available at hotel but hotel staff can provide you all foods. One dhaba is located infront of hotel. Homely stay in this hotel. Environment is serene. Sea beach is near about 1.5km, you can see the beach area walking some distance from hotel gate. Although hotel is very good for couples and families.

We had stop over in this place during our drive from Bangalore to Kolkata for 2 nights. Hospitality and service was extremely good. Cleanliness and hygiene was well maintained by the staff. Food served was delicious ( Veg/Non-Veg ) . This place is pet friendly and my pet's food was also taken care ( provided rice and chicken soup ) which actually made my stay. Location wise it is not sea facing , but Model Beach which is 1 of the Blue Flag Sea beaches of India is just a 5 min walk away. I would recommend people to stay here whoever is looking for some peaceful time after a lockdown. Thank you so much Ocean Delight .. :-)
A hotel is good only when it understands guests' requirement and acts proactively to make their staying comfortable. And for that a good management is required. I stayed 2 days here. Not for a single moment I found any manager level person. This hotel is totally run by caretakers. Mr. Moni and Santosh whole heartedly take care of the guests. Whenever you ask for anything they readily serve that except the food. But thing is you have to ask them every time. Sweep the room. Bring toiletries. Bring water etc. That's why a good manager is required to supervise. Room was good. Food should be ordered in advance and also not worth the penny. I enjoyed the staying but have doubt how long only these two people's effort will manage to run this hotel.
The hotel looks scary and old from outside. However we were impressed with the rooms inside. The hotel is short staffed & we had to go out searching for food. I thought the price was little higher per room for the night (same price for entire day) and i thought that was little over the top considering the property & the time we spent there. Other than that, it was good. The location is near Mayfair and there is the beach near by.
Hotel staffs Ashok & Mohan lal ji were very supportive, and we felt like home. Amazing restaurant and great service. Loved their food and rooms were also big and well maintained. Great thanks to ocean delight team.
