Food was very poor and unhygienic..Did not match with the expectations!! Access to the resort was difficult.. But a good ambience for the cost..Rooms were small than seen in the pics..General amenities were not available (dental kit, shampoo). Beach front was fun with kayaking and activities.
Good access to sea, nice location. Accommodation is very basic. Food is tasty, but same menu every day... due to storm, no road access to property now. Water is shallow, you need foot protector get into water.
The location is great, I think the best you could find near Rameshwaram/Dhanushkodi. The rooms are made of shipping containers and are pretty decent/simple. It's not that easily accessible, you would've to take a lot of detours but the host was very helpful, by calling us before we reached and helped us in navigating correctly. If you're looking for something like a staycation, please avoid the place since the internet connectivity is very low. The facilities should be improved as well since we had faced lot of electricity and water problems, but it was sorted on request. The food was freshly prepared, but only buffet option is there which was not economical. They also offer kayaking and snorkeling along with the package but we were not able to do Snorkeling because of the climatic conditions. The hosts were very friendly as well.

Cabana Coral Reef resort is a very simple and not animated and functional place. Good rooms to stay and may be a little small for some, decent washrooms, fully functional air conditioning, back up power, can of pure drinking water in the room, TV though no time to see tv, wash basin, a personal sitting area and that’s pretty peaceful and nice. A good kitchen serving food like made at homes whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. Shanmugam is very helpful and was with us to ensure everything was taken care of. Location on the beach is a great plus point and the resort themselves arrange for snorkelling and kayaking and the beach is a safe and calm one. Families would love this place. Reasonably priced, great homemade type food, good service, good location and value for money. Decent parking available. A must visit place for families and groups of friends and sure you would love this place. Located in Mandapam about 20 km before Rameshwaram. Stay safe and keep the place clean.
Best place for weekend getaway. Close to the shore! They cook really good seafood. Snorkeling, kayaking and equipments are well maintained.. beside all that they do good service. . Upon request they cook food for you. value for money.!
