This is old river course of Khowai river. Over a span of time, the Khowai river had changed the flow course and the local people bunded on the either end and used it as lake. The total water area is about 8 Ha and it is used for fishery and duckery purpose. The ssurrounding is a paddy land used for cultivation of paddy mostly. Birds such stork, heron, kingfisher, etc is seen here during winter months.
