This was my best experience learning horse riding. They not only teach riding but also teach how to create bonding. When you start with fear end with loving the horse riding is best feeling you ever had in life that what I feel during 2days. Authentic food with greenery all around. Staffs are so friendly that you feel like home.

Nestled in an agro-tourism site, the Saguna Equestrian Club is one of the best retreats near Mumbai for the adventurous souls. This is one of the very few equestrian tourism sites in India. In a mere span of 2 days, you learn the basics of mounting, dismounting, saddling and trotting on your own. The hosts at the camp ensure that their program is a good mix of learning and enjoyment. They also organized a riverside camping for us, with an amazing ambiance (picture attached).
If you want to learn horse riding this is "THE PLACE" for it. Its a two day horse riding camp that covers all the techniques, theory and practical sessions. I had been looking for horse riding classes since long but the options available were not only expensive but inconvenient as well. Saguna Club turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The two days spent at the camp were filled with wonderful learnings, challenges and memories that will be cherished for life. Makarand apart from being an excellent rider and a guitarist was a great host and made everyone feel very comfortable. The cherry on top was we were a group of 20 with age groups as wide as 22 – 40 and all of us got along so well and so quickly and became friends. Thanks Makarand for this wonderful experience I will be looking forward to joining the another batch in the future :).
The best weekend gateway for Mumbaikars. Riding the horse all alone in 1 session is commendable, hats off to the trainers and organisers of the camp, The food is amazing as it serves different authentic delicacies. Go on some for some star gazing near the river which is just 2 walks away.
Saguna Baug Horse Riding Camp is a perfect package dat offer everything: beautiful location, wonderful horses, Camp fire, positive atmosphere nd amazing professional dedicated staff who love what they do. Last batch was my 1st time @ Camp nd definately won't be last. Thank you so much Makarand (camp leader) for giving such a wonderful time nd Keep up de good work. I highly recommend everyone to try at least once in their life @Saguna Equestrian Club.
The best place and ambiance to learn horse riding . Easy to reach ,good food , awesome and friendly staff,cant talk enough about the place .must visit !!!!
An amazing place.. Perfect place not only for the basic training, but also for Amazing food, helpful staff, BBQ and campsite stay. Trainer Mr. Makrand Karve is not only a good trainer but also turns out a buddy who makes you feel as if you are at frnds outing even if you are coming alone to the camp. Owner of the club Mr. Chandan Bhosle has personally interacted with the batch and offered fresh Harbhara from the farm and awasome green tea. It was too affectionate for us.. Overall, it's been a great experience..
First of all, thanks to the wonderful charming guitarist young guy Makarand (our Trainer) who is very friendly and took care of each and everything we need from beginning to end. This was my first experience with horses, So I was little nervous about getting on a horse but the team members were very approachable and friendly and made it a very comfortable and fun experience! I really enjoyed the horse ride, our stay in a camp at river side and the food too. It was their 5th batch and Everyone in this batch was super friendly and very interesting. I felt like being with friends and family. Once again, I would like to thank you very much Makarand and our horse riding batchmates too for making possible to enjoy that amazing adventure. It was one the most amazing things I have ever done. I hope one day repeat it again and make a longer journey…SAMEER VIKRANT
