We stayed there 3 nights and 4 days. It’s like staying in the middle of forest, actually coffee plantation, it was very good. Owner said they didn’t grow any coffee, they had just left the whole plantation as it was, so I could see the coffee beans in the trees. Our cottage was blue color room, it was excellent!! Room and bathroom were so spacious, clean and neat. Besides there was good terrace toward forest, such a nice view, we spent so much time there. Food was very good and comfortable, too, we enjoyed it. All staff and the owner couple are so friendly and helpful for every out demand that I really appreciate it. It’s so beautiful and lovely place, I highly recommend people who want to escape the city for a break.

We visited with family for 2 nights and 3 days 1. Cottage is very well maintained and the best part is the balcony 2. Pets are allowed and I highly recommend this place for Pets(dog) 3. Food was great, it's a combination of local and visitor friendly. Overall we had a great stay .
We stayed at Mugilu for 2 nights, 3 days. It's a beautiful place, with very friendly and helpful staff. We were in the Green cottage, which has simple, clean, and lovely interiors. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with 24/7 hot water. The view from the balcony was a huge plus as we could see the hills in the distance :) It's a great place to relax and have a drink. We took our own beers as they do not serve alcohol and stored them in a common fridge. The food is absolutely delicious and in the 3 days we were there there was an astonishing variety. It is also reasonably priced for the accommodation and food. They also serve small snacks upon request which is nice. I would definitely recommend Mugilu to anyone looking to relax and have some great views (and food!) in the process. Will surely go back there some day. Just one small suggestion. While the tea was great, we felt that the coffee served could be improved :)
Easy to reach place from Bangalore. Staff was cordial and helpful. Good and simple food. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very calm and peaceful place. Walk through the estate is good. You can also enjoy in a small stream nearby. Sunset can be seen from dining area and some of the rooms.
It was a lovely experience. We stayed for two nights and the environment was very peaceful and well maintained. We loved the trails to a nearby stream and the estate which was unexpectedly beautiful. Food is top class and loved the buffet menu and quality of food. Thank you for an excellent stay.
Excellent place to unwind and just read. Hosts are amazing people, food is fantastic. must visit for a weekend away from Bangalore.
We visited Mugilu for the 2nd time recently and the visit was as pleasant and enjoyable as the first. This place offers great service and a very warm, welcoming and equally chilled out atmosphere. It is especially great to take your pets to. My pets found Mugilu more comfortable than any other place we've taken them to. It's a great getaway from Bangalore and we had a lovely stay with our pets and family and we'll definitely be visiting a third time.
It's a beautiful place where you get the feeling of being next to a forest. Waking up to the sound of birds is a lovely experience. The food is good and the staff looks after all your needs. It's a pet friendly homestay. There are 5 cottages. Ideal place if you want a quiet holiday. There are beautiful trails around for short walks. For senior citizens its best to be sure about fitness.
