Nice place.From main road one has to take a diversion.Difficult to reach the top with a scooty or a car.View from the top is really good. Very nice during sunset/sunrise timings. If one is interested in a bit of off-roading experience, can plan to visit this place. There are no shops at the top.
Been there early morning around 7. It was simply awesome. From shimoga it's around 30kms and the road is awesome except for 7km. Can spend easily around 3hours. Also got many famous temples around. Easy and good one day trip to spend time with family. Amount of wind, the clouds you see, the wind mills making huge rotations are just awesome.
Superb place to relax and we can see the mixture of technology and nature Beauty.
It's an amazing and thrilling place in mansoon ..in winter also but roads are not good but it is very thrilling to ride there ..and be careful if you're planning to go there i Heard that there are wild animals.
