Amazing property. Very well laid out and private beach is the icing on the cake! Rooms were good, well maintained. Great service by the staff. Only average point is the food, a bit overpriced for the taste. Otherwise the stay was just worth it. Please prefer sea view suites to the Deluxe rooms.

Excellent location right in the front of the private beach which is maintained do well amd so safe... The staff are very polite and excellent service, food could be better however it's not bad either.. we had a lovely stay at Shelter resorts.. if you looking for a calm relaxing holiday near Mahabalipuram this is a perfect budget friendly place..
Earlier had some problems but the staff was very helpful n considerate. The food was good n service was ok. The best part was the kinda private beach. Overall enjoyed the stay.
This one is a nice resort on ECR, located quite near to world famous Madras Crocodile Bank. The property is quite spacious and is well kept. It has a lush green canopies of coconut, mangoes and other native varieties and it gives a soothing feeling of being in open . It also has few cottages facing the sea. The cottages are surrounded by lush green plants and trees. The best part of this resort is that it's not cramped with concrete structures. The alleys and street are covered with lush green fauna. It's highly recommend for couples who want to spend quality time away from hustle & bustle of a city. The rooms are quite spacious & airy. Toilets are well kept and are ventilated. They have a private beach too where one can enjoy the waves of the Bay of Bengal (but beware, the beach is quite dangerous here & has steep slope & strong back current). The swimming pool of the resort is of a decent size and is only 5ft deep which is quite safe for non swimmers. Room service & house keeping is remarkable. The food in there "Samudra" restaurant is quite delicious ( bone broth soup served here is full of aroma & taste of native spices & is highly recommended). The north Indian cousine gives a genuine taste of North India. The staff here is quite courteous & helpfull. The front desk officer Mr. Anand Kumar greets with smile & is quite helpful.
Lovely place,reasonable price,yummy food, private beach access available,garden view..(internet is bit slow) and swimming pool is tiny.
We stayed here for 3 nights. Location is absolutely beautiful, perfect place for family outings. Food is ok ok but highly priced! Overall the place is very beautiful. Service provided by the staff team is good.
Beautiful place to stay just by the beach. sea view cottages are awsome. Staffs are good and everything was pretty much on point. We opted for dinner by the beach side and it was put together perfectly. Food was above average. Overall good option for the price.
You can not enjoy much here in this resort. There lot of restrictions like you can't seat at beach side after 9pm, you can't order have ur lunch/dinner/drinks near beach side. Rooms okay and justify the price. Food is is also good and affordable.
