The place is huge...It has all kinds of tracks to test the candidate....I came here for LLR test....the office is well equipped.... totally a nice place...

A well maintained driving test track in Shimoga. Its located in malvagoppa which is about 7 kms from city centre. If you want to get Driving licence / registration u will need to keep commuting between malvagoppa & rto office, next to DC office. Thats the only problem. Rest the place is Spatious enough. They have installed automatic driving test track system, but currently its manual only. Good luck with your tests.

Here the track is good, well established, the cameras were installed at every point. The cameras are not yet functioning so driving test goes super easy. The RTO inspector will sit in a chair and sometimes observes the driving, I have seen very few inspector will sit in the car and check the quality of driving.
