This is an amazing museum if you want to be introduced to the history of Rajasthan. Very well explained to us by the guide there. It was built in the memory of Sanjay who died at a very young age and had asked his father to get this museum built. It is opposite to the beautiful Lake Palace in Jaipur.

The museum is quite good, there are things to see about the kings of jaipur and it's people. In 20 , Jan , 2018 entry fee was rs.100 . But there was no discount in student card. Camera, phone is strictly prohibited in museum hall. Jalmahal is just in front of it.

If you’re going to Jaipur city you should definitely visit this museum this is a very huge museum and it has important monuments and idols, paintings, books, utensils ,clothes and historically important things of the king of Jaipur.Ideal time to visit this place is from morning 10 to 5 and better to go in the month from October or November
