Nice fort to trek near Mumbai but is a little hard as it has one of the highest elevation gains and there are multiple pathways on the plateau so inexperienced trekkers can easily lose track. It is better to take someone who knows the area or take with you an experienced trekker in case you get lost. Some of the routes are exposed but the view from the top is worth all the effort

Huge, breathtaking and very challenging. It's a long trail. Reaching on top of Bale killa is such a victorious and heavenly feeling. One can see Bhimashankar, Padargad, Peth, Chanderi, Gorakhgad etc. from the top.
Every one should go 1ns in life... For tracking..
It's an adventurous trek ! Becomes difficult during monsoon!
The best part is, the vegetation is still untouched! We preferred staying in the caves amd went to the top for night walk . Although it can be a little risky during monsoons but I found it best for endurance.
One of highly awaited fort, finally visited .. started from Narivali village, then Subhedar waterfall followed by Mahadarwaja, Siddhagad machi, Baba's cave and finally top ... Witnesses beautiful view from both end of tops ... One can get drinking water from Siddhagad machi (well) ... One should always ask for route to villagers, as there are chances of catching wrong way ..
Very pristine and isolated fort. Dense forest on and around the fort. Lots of relics and historical objects on the fort. Good for camping.
