It was open on Sunday 21st March 2021. Counter open time 9AM. 1st ferry starts by 9.30AM. But they need min of 30 members until that they won't start the ferry. If you don't want to get sun burnt try to catch the first ferry Please don't get plastic bottles which is not allowed inside the island

Great place to visit. But time given is too short at just 30 minutes on the island if one goes after 3.30 pm. Prior to that you can spend an hour if you visit the island during scorching time.

Beautiful place. Enjoyed a lot in cruise. Rs.250 entry fee and it's worth. Should carry water bottles snacks and cold drinks.

A good experience. It is unacceptable for the government to charge a large amount on a boat. Visitation is limited to one hour. That, too, is a drawback.

It's a serene and peaceful place... You can enjoy boating as many do not get a chance to go into the deep sea. Lot of fun Peaceful location Nice to walk on the crispy sand mingled with the shells of the sea. Beautiful stones with variety cracks and shapes and lot more It's nice to reflect about Vasco da Gama coming here years ago naming it as St Mary's Island. Pray for the Blessings of St. Mary, Mother of Jesus, who embraised death on the Cross to save the World.

They wait for minimum 30 people to issue the tickets. Good point is that after 30 people, they will wait for only 15 minutes and then boat will start. It costs 300 RS per head for the boat (ferry) ride to St Mary's island. the boat will not be operating from mid of May to September. Friendly staff and they give all the info. They accept ONLY CASH(as of May 2019). There is always a boat service at10.30 AM and 3.30 PM on weekdays. Additional boats would be only if the are minimum 30 people.

It's a very small and clean island with a beautiful view structured by the stepping stones in a sea. You will get food in the canteen and some water sports also you can play.
