Excellent facility, never seen such a place in India. A place every Indian must see. Takes you through the life of our Jawans and their contribution and sacrifices for our independence and pride. Well spread out with all facilities, including clean wash rooms, a good store and ample car parking space. Though not comparable to the Imperial war Museum at London, this is our share. There is a new one coming up at Delhi.

The Jaisalmer War Museum was conceptualised to display India's rich military history and showcase real war efforts as they happened in the past... The Jaisalmer War Museum aims to promote greater awareness of the sacrifice made by real life heroes of the Indian Army, in particular, and Indian Armed Forces in general... It has various sections inside the gallery hall...like Laungewala Hall, Indian Army Hall, Siachen Gallery, WWII gallery...also there is an audio video hall inside the museum... However, the icing on the cake is the open air display of the war equipment... This museum was opened to public in August 2015... Seeing this will make you more proud for our Indian Army... Entry fees are 25 per persons its open from I guess 8:00AM to 6:00PM...the best part is even foreigners are allowed to check out this place...जय हिंद...भारत माता की जय...
