The bus stand being next to station is very good for passengers switching between train and bus. But the bus stand should be renovated. The building is too old and a proper rest area should be developed for the drivers, conductors and the staff members. Maximum area of the bus stand is without proper shade, so a well shaded waiting area for the passengers should also be developed.

State Transport is best service in Maharashtra. Thane ST depot have good frequency for all areas. Accessibility is good. Public wash room are available but not that hygenic. Enquiry counter is available and staff is cooperative. They are helping people by giving relevant information. Depot is surrounded with market where you can find small restaurants, take out, cloth Market, Auto stand, city bus stand etc. Overall ratings is Good.

It needs lots of upgardation..Basic comfort level for public is not being taken care. No announcement system..no boards to identify start points..no waiting/sitting arrangements. Cleanliness is far..far off sight.

MAY B d worst ST Stand n Entire Maharashtra. Don't have proper announcing. Staff is Very Very Rude. They r just doing favour on u whenever they talk. To take Bus to Borivali from here is as such as going to Moon. People r just standing n line like animals. No announcements. Staff does not know when is next bus. No Clean Bathrooms. People should not come here to take bus or ST. If have another option like train or BEST is available. People should go for that.

Bus Stop area not neat and clean. Best travel time is morning 11 to 1pm and 4pm to 6pm

I could experience the worst management of the S. T.Service. Myself with my Client were made to wait in the queue for Borivli for one hour 22 minutes. They have changed the board of two buses to send to Ovla, instead of Borivli as if Ovla is the Capital of Maharashtra, making wait about 100 passengers including us ! The bus took about 40 minutes to bring from Khopat Depot to Thane Station Depot ! The Lady in-charge of the Station Manager/Controller should be given an Award for this " wonderful ability !! " Feel pity for the helpless Tax-Payers !
