This is where you drop your luggage, if you are trying to climb the hill by bare foot, by walking. Before you want to drop the luggage, you need to have either free darshan tickets which are being given in nearby Bhudevi complex or you should be having Rs.300 online booked tickets. Once you show either of these 2, you are allowed to drop your luggages, which you can take delivery once you reach the top of the hill.

Before Carona there was no Big Queue for handover of luggage. But, now there’s a Big Queue. Not sure whether sufficient staff is present or number of people handovering luggage has increased.

People can transfer the luggage from tirupathi to tirumala with free cost. It means public who want to take trip to tirumala on foot from Alipiri can handover the luggage here. Better be at luggage counter at 5AM so that you can easily handover the luggage and have beautiful view while walking to tirumala.

No problem about our luggage security. Have to adjust a little bit for sleeping. They will provide free mats and blanket too. Allowed to stay free for one day. Proofs required like aadhar or voter card. Very nearer to temple
